fabi,
If it is safe that the original source was DC 20 volts and we have no more data in the reflector, there is much more to do.
Anyway you can try Dc12 volts, at most would not turn properly, nothing should happen but is to take a watering, which can be greater if you place a reflector of 12 volts power of 20 volts.
At lower DC voltage there is no way that with a fixed load increase the amperage, so this should be less than 7.5 A.
If you do not want to risk the 12-volt supply, try a 12-volt battery and that's it, do not be polarized.

Or rather simple, query where you purchased the reflector that source uses. If you have no doubts, get a spare of 20 volts and forget the subject.

greetings fabi, the original transformer has output of 20 volts direct current / direct current 7.5 amps, and the spare only handles 12 volts -It will not be useful to you

Hi Fabi The colleague Gonzalo (greetings) indicated the difference in the source, in any way, verifies the voltage with which the reflector works; you can take a photo of the plate and confirm whether it serves or not. In principle, it would seem that not.

Hi. The dealers sell the reflector drivers as spare parts. Otherwise they are usually 12 volts. regards
