Doubts of furnace / vitro installation with my power contracted

Hello, how are you? I wanted to know if having contracted 3,810 Kw, (new meter), could I install a new thermal 25 and 6 mm cable, or maybe I would have What would it expand? I have, as I said, the modern electric meter, differential of 40, thermal of 20, another of 25, another of 20 and another of 10. It is an old installation, which I am reforming, there are 2 Acc connected, and two thermoses one large and one small. Thank you.

Hello I do not know what place or country you are, but I do not consider it appropriate to discuss technical issues with contractual provisions or limitations, since they are different things. A power of 4kWh corresponds to a maximum amperage of less than 20 amperes, that is supplied with a 4 mm supply, protected with a thermal of 20 amperes. You can increase the section of cable to 6 mm and place a thermal of 25 amperes, but if you are fined or forbidden to consume more than what you say, what's the point? Another thing, recalculate the protections of the circuits or sectionals, you can not have thermal downstream of equal or greater amperage than the main thermal cut. Comment regards

the answer is no sadly you are going to have to expand the power a little more. However you talk about putting a heat of 25 but the title says something else why do not we start from the "I want to put a kitchen"? Maybe your calculations are wrong and you do not have to change anything to install it. It is a suggestion only. regards

Hello Actually, as long as no damages are generated to the company's facilities, they will not say anything to you for placing a thermal of 25, but it is necessary to clarify that for a furnace and a vitro, that is not enough. the best thing is that you ask for the appropriate power, for what you mention would be no less than 7 kVA since the facilities will surely not support it, since the company when contracting a supply of 3.8kW does not place facilities for so much power we do not even go into details of the loads that you have but if it exceeds 10kVA it changes to three phase regards
