But there are times that I stay in the garage longer and of course, the light goes out and to turn it on, I have to operate the door again. Do you know if there is any way to do something so that with a button the light is activated again? greetings and thanks

Hi. it would be necessary to see the connections of the plate (of the light) and place a common switch. The fluorescent will remain on as long as you do it from the switch, without limits. Can you upload a photo of the gate plate connections? regards

An external switch should be placed on these same contacts. When it is on or with its contacts closed the light will turn on until you turn it off. What if, be careful to turn it off from this switch since otherwise it will never turn off for more function than the gate. regards



More than a switch, a selector with NC and NO contacts must be used, so that when the selector is OFF the light can only be turned on when the motor is activated, and when the selector is ON the light turns on directly, but at the same time the energy coming from the control unit is going to be cut, the ON position is indicated in the diagram, if you look at the two contacts that go to terminals G7 and G8, the position OFF, G8 joins that L, while G7 with the one that goes to lamp.
