Ricardo thanks for your reply. I comment that they have not placed mesh and here in Mendoza is not made folder since it should be no less than 5cm so that it does not leave. Being seismic zone in any construction folder is made. Ceramics directly on the subfloor. Anyway the subfloor is 10cm I do not know if they see enough ... Regarding the crack there is nothing to seal it? Or nothing would work? Hugs
If you can't put maya (which is just so it doesn't break) you're going to have to do expansion joints. I don't know how the cracks are, in terms of thickness and depth, you could put some sealant, but that's it, it didn't hit and it won't hit. Nor is it going to harm the placement of the floor since it is about cracks resulting from material and non-structural differences, I think.
Of course it is not structural, it is dilatation in that we agree. However. Regardless of the fact that I put sealant or something to fill that space, do you think that a ceramic on the subfloor will not harm it?
My fear was if I do not part ... And it is right between the strip and the continuation of the floor. And other minors on the floor ...
Why don't you upload some photos? Thus we have another panorama. You have to understand that help is relative, more than anything, they are opinions of their own experiences. The belts are made with strong material (because then you have to lean and without rubble) and almost never respect the same proportion in the subfloor, both in the amounts and aggregate of water. When they hit the floor they have to add material, that same material will cover the cracks. That does not ensure that it does not crack later, so I suggest expansion joint (due to the seismic zone)
With the same material that you place the floor, you prepare a little more liquid so that it enters the crack and that's it.
I ask: Is the grid that is the final height? No, sure not! But, the area is large, when you place the floor every so often put a strip of telgopor so that it acts as an expansion joint, with 5 or 6 mm thick, it will work well. regards
If so, it is convenient for you to reach the subfloor, it is more effective and you are not at risk of cracking the bonding material. Greetings.
