doubts durlock ceiling construction

Hi everyone! I have to build a ceiling of Durlock board taken at home and I have some doubts. I have already made some partitions but I have not yet made ceilings. I am going to do this in a room of 3mx3m, another of 3mx4m with a dressing room of 2mx3 and a bathroom. the roof or deck is made of galvanized sheet metal and it has been sprayed to expand polyurethane spray. The doubts I have are 2. 1.-the candles that are fixed to the master beams can be fixed directly to the galvanized C profiles that support the ceiling? I read out there that it was not recommended because of the expansion and movement that it generates. I clarify that I would hold the candles to the C profiles, prior to the placement of the polyurethane, so that the fixation is firmer. 2.- Is it advisable to use the traditional structure and plates or the ciel plates and omega profiles? Thanks in advance for your answers!

Among the 2 types of plates which is more recommended? beyond the difference in weight.

They are basically the same. If you do not have enough experience, the ideal would be 9.5 plates as you run less risk of breaking into large cloths.

Hi. There is no problem that you put the candles to the current structure. If you make them spray with polyurethane they will lose much of their contraction / dilation. Despite this effect, the plates are flexible and if you use tape on the joints there will be no major problems. As for the plates you can use Ciel that are 6 mm thick or those of conventional 9.5. It is a matter of weight. regards

A question arose from the visit of a contractor who is going to do another job for me and also does Durlok. According to him, the plates are placed in the same direction of the uprights. In other words, the longest side of the 2.4mt plate along the stile. But according to the tutorials I've seen, even the durlock officers, they should be placed perpendicular to the uprights. How is it?

You can actually place them as you want, there are no major problems.
