Hi everyone! I have to build a ceiling of Durlock board taken at home and I have some doubts. I have already made some partitions but I have not yet made ceilings. I am going to do this in a room of 3mx3m, another of 3mx4m with a dressing room of 2mx3 and a bathroom. the roof or deck is made of galvanized sheet metal and it has been sprayed to expand polyurethane spray. The doubts I have are 2. 1.-the candles that are fixed to the master beams can be fixed directly to the galvanized C profiles that support the ceiling? I read out there that it was not recommended because of the expansion and movement that it generates. I clarify that I would hold the candles to the C profiles, prior to the placement of the polyurethane, so that the fixation is firmer. 2.- Is it advisable to use the traditional structure and plates or the ciel plates and omega profiles?
