Hello friends!!
I need your help, I am not at all a specialist or anything like it, nothing is further from reality.
I just try to trick myself in everything I can, and in this case the subject is my White Westinghouse washing machine ww055btw
The issue is that I have to disassemble the engine, which nobody has ever done since I bought it (purchase year 1998) because I have to remove the rule and buy the replacement to change them and start it because the drum does not rotate to any.
I find the problem as you can see in the photos that after removing all the screws and everything that supports it I can not take it out, it is very seized by the plastic part of the drum base, and I am afraid of making it very strong and break these plastics and make the problem more complicated.
Of course I would greatly appreciate your collaboration with ideas and proposals on how to achieve the goal without breaking anything.
thank you very much!!
Hello, the first thing I had to do is only remove the screws that take out the engine. Not the screws that are part of the engine that removes them after you take it out of the washing machine ... once I have done the first thing I said. With a flat screwdriver on the side between the engine and the plastic that holds the engine, it makes a little force backwards so that it slides backwards and releases. Many times it is a little stuck but prying as you explain it comes out easy. Regards
Good, if I try but I'm afraid to break the plastic part.
there in the photos you can see every grip and its condition.
I will try again, thanks for your collaboration.
get a syringe and then fluid for the car brakes, fill the syringe without the brake fluid needle and bathe the parts that are stuck, let the brake fluid act a few hours and try again, you will see the parts loosen That got stuck, greetings and luck.
Greetings to colleagues.
Friend, replace the screws that assemble the engine, and as explained previously with a large flat screwdriver, alternately prying between the "ears" of the support, it does not help you in anything that the team is lying on (I am the enemy of lying down equipment), it is easy to do so but electrical elements can be wet, being vertical, the motor is hung and it would be easier to remove it. Regards
