I have a 20 kilos Maytag washer of small agitator ace everything but the agitator does not move (does not wash) they tell me that the capacitor does not work but I do not know how to remove it I need to see if someone from the forum can help me in the past thank you very much atte Valdemar 2013

Hello, let's see if I understand "does everything but does not wash", then it does not do everything. I guess the wash cycles make them as if the drum was spinning and washing but it doesn't, is that what it means?



The capacitor is a metallic or plastic cylinder that has 2 wires, which are connected to the motor starter winding. Having lost capacity, the engine will buzz and not spin. It must be of the same UF (microfaradios) and voltage capacity, example 350VAC.
