Dear, it is possible that the bearing opposite the pulley is of another version.
These washing machines have two types of bearings. Some, called low head and others called high head.
If the shaft you have is like the one below, the bearing assembly of the lower photo should go.

If so, check the assembly on the opposite side to the pulley to ensure that everything was assembled as the original, I do not recommend filing any element, these already come with just the right measure for replacement accordingly. Dear, it is not uncommon for sellers to offer you spare parts that, although they are similar, do not fit the requirements that this washing machine needs.
