LG WD-10480T washing machine takes water but does not wash

The washing machine takes water, but then does not wash. A "click" is heard in the box but does nothing. I have opened it to see if the belt was damaged or "slipped", but the engine does not turn.

I have removed the coals and indeed, one of them is very worn (0.5 centimeters), so I think that is the problem. I will buy them and I will comment if I have finally managed to repair it thanks to your help.
Thank you.

Hello, disassemble the carbons from the engine and check if they are worn. Also, check connectors, both in motor, as in board and wiring. regards

Sorry for my ignorance, but ... What are the "coals" of the engine?

They are located on the tail of the engine, one on each side, with one cable each, click on this link and comment.

I have various doubts. Could you tell me with which "group" of washing machines this piece shares ?. And another thing ... to remove the brushes I had to put the washing machine down. Can I leave it like this until I get the piece (it could be a few days)?
Greetings.

Another question ... I have managed to remove the carbon part (with the spring and a metal guide). Will they sell me this loose piece, or do I have to buy the complete set?

I don't know with which group he shares the coals or brushes, but many engines have it even, it won't cost you to find it.
They are sold with the spring and the end and only the carbon and the cable, but you have to adapt it and it is more complicated

Brushes or "coals" replaced. The washing machine is working again. Thanks so much for the help. By the way, when I mount one of the brushes I have dropped a screw inside the motor. Is it dangerous, is there a risk of burning the engine? Will the brush be released when it is caught only with a screw?

If it is dangerous, it can ruin the winding, stator or rotor.
The brush will not be released with a single screw, but inside it cannot be, help yourself with a magnet, to see if you do not have to disassemble it

In the end I took out the screw and took the brush correctly.
The washing machine is still working perfectly.
Thank you.
