Good morning people from the forum. I have in the workshop an LG Brand F1010TD washing machine, with DD Direct Drive motor. The problem is that when you have to start moving the engine, it makes a strange noise, makes some attempts to move but does not.

Hi. Greetings to the forum. I tell you my experience. It is a fault in the hall sensor. You place it at the bottom of the engine. It carries 4 wires. This sensor is usually shorted. In the case that I touch the sensor it was shorted because the branch of cables that goes from the plate to this sensor were stripped and touched the case and caused the short in said sensor. Good morning Forum people. I want to inform you that I found the solution to the problem "It does not turn on Direct Drive motor and makes some strange noises". The problem was in the Hall sensor, (this is at the bottom of the engine and can be accessed by disassembling the engine), The Hall sensor had burned two 680 ohm resistors, it was a matter of measuring, detecting the components in Bad condition and change them. NOTE: The small printed circuit of the Hall sensor is coated as with a rubber or silicone. To perform the repair, you have to remove this silicone and then replace something similar.
