Hi. I wanted to ask about a washing machine, 6.5 top load. When spinning, the stainless steel drum does not rotate. I could confirm the brake if it is released. What does not rotate are the two plastic gears that are in the box. I know they have a spring inside. What does it do? Change gears or repair them? If you can do this, how are they changed or repaired? Or do you have to change the whole box? Could someone explain to me how is the mechanism that drives these gears? Hello in the interior there is a spring that is surely broken. Drpende where you live is if you get it. Usually comes the full box. What you have to check is the state of the box that is not locked and that has no losses if you want to change only the resosrte. Regards

I don't know it came out. If I see that it is a bit crooked. When I take it out and put it back and try the centrifuge, it spins the drum. But if I stop it and make it start again it doesn't hook it anymore

That is the spring but it has two ears, one for each gear. The one who serves is a bit crooked. I guess that's why it fails.
