Hi, I have a Drean Unicommand 116 washing machine and from one day to the next without warning it stopped working (it doesn't turn on the light or has any kind of reaction). Check the fuse and it is intact. Also with a pager I checked that there was voltage and both the solenoid valves as well as the ceramic resistance and the platelet diode has voltage. What would be the problem?
The white rectangular ceramic resistance has probably been burned. If you don't have a tester, plug in the washing machine. In a minute it must be hot.
Dear, remember that the polisher does not work in these cases, it only marks the presence of the positive and is activated with 30 volts. Make the verification suggested by colleague ROBERTO and comment the results. Cheers
Dear, if the resistance does not raise temperature, it may be cut. Check with a tester whether or not it has continuity. If it's ok, you must own 6800 ohms. Cheers
In such a case it is normal that if the resistance is burned there is no reaction in the washing machine. What features should you have when you have to buy it to replace it?
Problem solved with resistance change. It was very misleading because although it did not raise temperature it had no flash or a trace of burn but finally it was the problem
