Baxi Luna 240 fi, diaphragm does not press the swich

Hello, I have a Baxi Luna 240 fi boiler that lately I have noticed that if I do not open the tap fully it does not start. Today I took a look and see that if I open the tap halfway or so, the diaphragm does not act on the swich. However, when I turn on the tap completely, the diaphragm does cause the swich to close and put the boiler into operation. What is the problem? Will it just replace the diaphragm? If so, it seems simple to change it. Thank you

Hi If there were no variations in the usual water pressure, it is very likely that the diaphragm has been stretched and fails to push the swich, usually lasting 3 years, if you have that time or more change it directly. Regards !

There have been no changes in water pressure, no. The problem will be the years that the boiler has and that diaphragm that has never been changed. He is already 13 years old. Enough to last.
Thanks for answering. I will change the diaphragm and comment the result.

It would be advisable to change the diaphragm and clean the area well. Where does the shaft work? Lubricate well Cheers

Thanks for the advice. It seems that will be the problem. Any advice for when you disassemble the piece?

Be very careful when disassembling and marking the position of the diaphragm.
