Greetings, I have a broken NP18 c1815 transistor in a switched source and wanted to replace it with another NPN (AP431), my question is: Does the model that is a transistor as long as I respect the NPN? * I add that this is the ap431 an NPN measured with the tester taken from another switched source.
AP431 is not a transistor. In no way can you use it as a replacement for the C1815, this is very well known commercially, you wouldn't have to have dramas to buy it. I was searching the web, but I didn't find anything yet
The datasheet, based on its data, shows that the component is simply something else, a programmable zener.
As a replacement for the C1815 you can use the C945, for example.
