Behringer Xenyx 502 mixer switch (switch) improperly repaired

Dear, I am going to try to summarize the problem including images and the repair made by a technician who did not fit and affected me other things. The mixer, mixer or mixer in question is a Behringer Xenyx 502 The button identified with the letter a) is the one that was giving me some downloads and is the one I use to press to speak with the microphone, This way I don't hear the music and it doesn't cause my radio broadcast on the internet. Since the button b) I have never used it (that is, it was not used) I asked an electronics technician to change them, that is to put the b) instead of a) and vice versa. This task that seemed very simple, desoldering 6 legs and re-welding them, took a long time to the technician, he told me because the tracks on the circuit are very thin and the hole where the legs come in too, so it took me a while to make the change of buttons. When he gives me the work done, something happens that I cannot understand, the changed button that occupies the place a) does not work, that is, the one that was new, no matter how much you press it or release it it does nothing, and most curiously, that the one who occupies the place b) that is the one that was giving failures, now it does the same function as when it was located in the position a) , that is, logically and electronically the function of the buttons was reversed, working with the same fault for which I led him to exchange them. But that's not all, something weirder happened, the potentiometer identified with the letter c) "Main mix" does not work, that is, even if you turn the knob to the left or right does nothing, and I add, I never had problems with that pot, or downloads or anything, it worked perfectly before taking it to the technician. I add large photos of the repairs: Now I add a general image: Photo of the near potentiometer: Front photos of the mixer: I add the diagrams I found online: If someone can give me a clue what may have gone wrong in that repair it would help me to talk to the technician and have it repaired quickly since I use it daily and I don't want to be spoiled with repairs. A hug and thank you very much for the help you can suggest, Juan

Cordial greeting, Juanamores, in the way that describes the damage in this console, I think the solution would have been more practical if you had cleaned the push-button microsuiches with some type of effective contact cleaner, this type of equipment the electronic card communicates between if both sides, that is to say the upper part with the one below, through the small eyelets that can be easily observed, some of them may have been isolated and it is most likely that it could happen since to remove any component of insertion This card has to be done very carefully if it is heated too much, the conductive tracks can be detached, these push buttons in question are the ones that send the different mixtures of the channels to the main or Main output and to the headphone output and pass first through the master controls of the main output and phones, so now it does not sound when handling such knobs. What you can suggest to the technician is to check thoroughly and measure continuity on both sides of the card in relation to the pushbuttons until the main outputs that track signal to see where it is lost, for these cases it is always best to use A suitable welding station to remove these components, the technician must have a signal tracker or simply follow the tracks with the multimeter, I wish you good luck in this repair, comment your results to continue in your support. Thanks Alexis for your comments, I commented that in previous years I used contact cleaner for these pushbuttons, but after a few months of use, I had to clean them again.
This mixer has been with me for 6 years and has never given me a fault.
For that reason, having used that button for so long, I thought it was time to replace it with a new one and having one of the idle buttons, I thought it might be a good idea to change it for the one that gave failures. I hope I can have a solution, and I will keep you informed of how this story goes.

Greetings, I hope so and have your problem promptly resolved these pushbuttons are achieved today and can be replaced, it is only a matter of the person who is going to make the new diagnosis, be passive and dedicated d sure finds the signal failure that does not reach the master, for security I would recommend changing both buttons. Good luck

According to your recommendation, I will buy the 2 new buttons.
I live in Uruguay and saw some online, to see if they are these? because it says "double inverter push button" is 8mmx8mm: https://www.miamishop.com.uy/catalogo/electronica/llaves/llave-pulsadora-8x8-mm-doble-inversora-p8x8/

Hello, good day, well in the picture they are the same, you must take into account that they are identical to the originals, that is to say the same amount of pins and in the same order, that they activate when they are pressed, there is no other that they verify when removing the that are in the console all the connections where these are installed, both from the top and bottom of the card remember that you mention it has connections from both sides to rectify that everything is ok, just do the respective tests and verify that Functional Regards

Good morning Alex, thanks for answering me, with respect to the pushbutton I know that it is 6-pin with 8mm retention, now to know if the internal connection is identical we would have to wait for the technician to solder one and measure it, I had the idea that these switch were all the same inside, normal open (lead the legs of the tips of the same end) and then when pressed it closes, on the right side the middle leg closes with the one on the bottom and on the left side the middle leg with the above. I'm waiting for the rain to stop a little, here there is a very ugly storm.

I tell you, I went to the technician I cleaned the welds of some small tin chips that were not in place and told me that he was very careful when doing his job and that he knew well that the card connected on both sides, that he tested his work and It was fine and for him, the changed position button opened and closed the circuit well. Next week he will look at that button in person at the house where they sell it and if he sees that it is compatible he will acquire 2 and change them. In conclusion: I will give you your best answer, since you have been the only user who contributed ideas. Greetings and thanks.
