Rexroth solenoid valve does not work

Good afternoon dear, I write from Tucumán, Argentina, I tell you, I have an ENVAMEC branded fractionator / packing machine, it works with air, it has a REXROTH brand solenoid valve, which moves a piston of a double-acting cylinder, the problem is that this valve does not alternate the air supply, to raise and lower the piston. I checked that the voltage reaches it, and it arrives perfectly, I also checked the relay of it and it works correctly. What could be that fails? I attached a photo of it. Of course I appreciate any response Regards.

Because it is a solenoid valve that works logically with comorbid air, the air never comes pure if not with water particles and that eventually causes plugging or wear to the internal piston and its buges if your valve can be disassembled and cleaned and verify that everything internal Okay you can save. in another case it also happens that the solenoid valve coil is burned if you have another one on hand or try another good one from another valve if it does nothing anymore there is already the internal part that I mentioned previously.

Thanks, I will proceed to completely disassemble the valve and check the internal piston, and check the coil. And indeed the compressor that feeds it loses oil.

The first thing to check is if you make the change, disconnecting the line that opens the piston. If you do not make the change, you may have inmates worn out or lacking lubrication. If you make the change, check if you energize it by throwing air through the center. If effective, it has worn piston rings. You can look for internal spare parts of the solenoid valve or you can simply replace it.

Thanks for the suggestions, I commented that I disconnected the line that opens the piston, and does not make the change, I will proceed to disassemble the valve (blue body) to check the internal mechanisms.

You also tried it manually and didn't make the change .. ??

good morning everyone, Gonzalo, yes to the head of the solenoid valve you comment that tension comes, look at the body of the valve, you must have a small black selector that indicates O and I, it has a screwdriver slot, well you pass it from O to I, the valve must change and therefore the cylinder will work for you; if it works like this, in manual I mean, you leave it again in O, then the coil is cut. If it does not work with an electric or manual drive, you buy a replacement kit, in this they sell you all the O-rings so you can change the ones you have for them and keep the new valve. The kit includes a grease tube to carefully grease everything in the assembly very clean and careful, when disassembling and assembling.

Thanks for the suggestions, I tell you that I move the selector that you tell me is yellow in this case, and it does alternate the air change, so I reverse the hoses and it works live, which causes me setbacks. I will buy the toric rubber that you tell me to change from the valve. Now, how do I check that the coil is burned? Thank you.

When energized, a small blow must be felt, which is the operation of the metal core.

If you hear it perfectly to the "tic" sound when energizing, on Monday I will proceed to disassemble the valve, and I tell you. Very grateful for the help of all of you.

The question is simple: Are you going to replace it with another one that is damaged or is it a new installation?
