Remote control for frequency inverter without potentiometer?

Hello greetings, I am new to the community and I have a question for the remote control for frequency inverter. It is the following, I want to use a frequency converter at a fixed frequency for a pumping system and I want to use only one actuator to start and stop the pump motor now I ask the following: Can I use a remote control only by connecting ONLY one actuator for start and stop? that is to say, only one actuator to start or stop nothing more than just a button, no potentiometer change of rotation predetermined speeds none of that. only one actuator type on start ... off stop. It should be noted that if I want to set the time on the acceleration and deceleration ramp I hope your help, thank you very much in advance.

Hi. There are no problems in what you mention. Parameters are preprogrammed, for example, of the type of starting (direct or on ramp) and every time you turn on the drive, after a couple of seconds the motor will start. You can place a switch to turn it on from its control part. What drive is it? Mention brand and model. Regards

If you can, only for safety you must install, however, minimum emergency stop. The correct thing would be a manual / remote selector. If you have to connect a start button and a stop button, as the remote control must have the operation of a relay, it is a matter of wiring an NO contact for start and another NC contact for stop. So with energized relay disconnects the stop and connects the start and when de-energized, disconnects the start and connects the stop. It is important to know the brand and model.

The one that I will use is a MicroMaster 440 for a three-phase induction motor of 75HP 1780 RPM of a pumping system, that is why I will not need the potentiometer because of the control I will do it in the following way a protection by automatic switch / circuit breaker, the frequency inverter and then the pump coupled to the motor. To control the start and stop of the motor in the drive I will use a manual selector, for the start and stop condition.
So that at the time of an interruption in the electrical system when the electricity returns, it starts automatically.

Without having to set the potentiometer every time or something similar, in this case the speed control is in the acceleration and deceleration ramp to avoid the water hammer is therefore the question.

It's a matter of selecting the boot mode.
