Switching Source Dedemoniated,

Good night: I am trying to repair a Simple Switching Source (switching) of a Wine Cooler. The Source has Main Vo Output = 12 Vdc that feeds a Peltier Cell which cools on one side and heats on the other, plus some Coolers and ends the whole mystery. * The Failure: Mark "Protection" and does not give 12 Volts, but something like 10.15 to 11 volts "No Load" (bone all disconnected) Tests and tests I performed: - I focus more than anything on the "Hot Parts" bone Semi-Conductors and they are all well. - I checked the fuse, thermistor, etc. of the input are all in continuity. -The bridge rectif. input, good - Mosfets input oscillators, fine - The Shotcky Diode of Salidad, well - The output capacitor, well -The input capacitors, fine - An 8Volts Output regulator (which feeds the front panel), Well - TL494, well, (I replaced it) - carries an IC. (8-leg amp-op) like 4558 which I suppose takes the thermostat signal to turn off the source when the desired point is reached. Well, replace it with another - Most Zener diodes, and common, Good * That is why I find it extremely rare that I walk everything and at the same time mark "protection" Good in reality they turn on (without load) the Red Led + Green Led

I suggest you take out the electrical scheme of the cold section and analyze who and how the LEDs are commanded and surely the analysis of it will guide you to the possible resolution of it, if you do not upload it here to analyze it and be able to help you. Changing things because they are there usually only worsens the situation due to collateral damage in the process. Greetings. Ric-

Good. and thanks for commenting
I found a discussion thread here very interesting since it was the same source ...
1.Change all Filters of the secondary stage and under the output voltage of Vo1 = 10.1 V to Vo2 = 8.5 V
(I mean that some Capacitor had to do with the problem or something like that)
2. I followed his advice and took out the transistors that the C1815s talk about and plug in the source and now ... it directly does NOT turn on.
(apparently I screwed up) take out the TL494 thinking I burned it but NOT

Check the voltage on pins 1,2,15 and 16 of the TL494. Those are the integrated control inputs,

Fixed:
Change the 2 Mosfet Transistors of the input for 2 equal but from an ATX source ...
Be careful that the Amp-op controls the Voltage Output from 3 to 12volts. Do not test without proper Panel and Thermostat Connections

Generally, the PC ATX sources do not have Mosfet if there are no common high-voltage transistors and the switching sources must always be tested under load conditions because if not, they may not work or do so abnormally .... PC sources have load resistors in the main power lines and yet some do not start if no loads are placed in any of their outputs.
Thanks for sharing and good luck.
