hello good morning, I have a 40w solar panel connected to a charge controller that in turn charges a 12v 7 amp gel battery. and I wanted to connect a 55 amp car battery using a selector key. the point is that I wanted to know if there is a key where between the charge that comes from the regulator and I have as a switch that I can choose to have the charge go to battery 1 (gel) and then moving it go to battery 2 (car battery ), is there such a key? What's it called and where can I buy it? Thank you
If they come and they are called investment key. There are unipolar (interrupt a single cable) or bipolar, (cut both cables simultaneously).
They exist from small to low consumption / power to industrial that are capable of changing large powers.
Hi, I used to charge the battery chargers, the gel battery is a common lead acid battery where the acid is mixed with a sodium salt that we used to call liquid glass, it reduces the original battery capacity by 10% but in essence it is still a battery of acid lead. BOTH have similar specifications
Hi. I leave you an image of something simple that you can implement. It is a "common" double inverter key that you can buy at an electronics house. Any questions you have more to ask. Regards
