I find myself confused, I have a capacitor. 470 damaged uf that I want to replace but I have one of 4.7uf and I want to know if it is equal in its uf value.

Hello Friend. according to what you say is an electrolytic capacitor. the values are not the same one is 470uf (microfarads). and the other is 4.7uf is a lot the difference. If you have a capacimeter you can measure it. regards

Is 4.7 the same as 470? I do not think so.... the 470 is 100 times larger than the 4.7 and is not compatible with each other regards
