The resistors are not measured with the diode meter, they are measured with ohmmeter and the use of buzzer is relative. The buzzer will only sound if the measurement yields a very low value (<30 or 40 Ohm depending on the instrument). If the R is greater than that the buzzer will not sound and does not imply that the R is bad since it can be an R equal to or greater than 47 ohm
