Can I change a resistance of the same omhs but more power?

Good afternoon, that's the question. I have to replace a resistance of 1 ohm of 1/2 watt and I only got 1 ohm of 1/4 W and 3 W. The one of 1/4 w I don't think you can because it would probably burn. Is there a problem if I put the 3W? Thank you.

place two resistors of 2.2 ohms and 1/4 W in parallel.

Resistances can always be exchanged for a higher power but never a lower one.

It cannot always be changed to one of greater power.
When they are of low value, as in this case, they are used to protect the circuit, so if you use a higher power, you leave the circuit unprotected.
In this case it is preferable to put 2 resistance in parallel of 2 ohms of 1 / 4W.
