Hi, I need to know which were the transistors that were used in the 60s in replacement of the C945 and D400, of texas instruments, or the tube-type toshiba, like the 2sb56 something like that, thanks

Good morning, the transistors C945 and D400 are perfectly commercial, they are currently available, now with respect to the 2SB56 of Toshiba (Germanium) I do not believe that it is achieved, unless there is a page that is sold by the WEB, the transistors of germanium are different from those of silicon, there may be equivalents in silicon, but polarize them that is the subject ... Germanium transistors have a lifespan when older less possibilities of platform ...

Hi neg, if I already know, what I mean is what the equivalent of the C945 and D400 were at that time, I need them to be from that time before but with the function of the C945 and D400, cordial greetings

Hello, the C945 and the D400, as neg told you, is totally available in silicon and when the era of silicon began, here in Argentina there was a line of transistors that were used for all purposes in particular were the texas instruments, they were still manufactured here. meet on the web with the word texas ARG that was the origin, that was in the year 76 if I remember correctly then they stopped manufacturing since texas left the country, they were of good quality for the C945 which was NPN of general use you could replace it with 2A238, of texas or BC548 of philips that also manufactured transistors already at that time for the D400 that is 1A NPN you could use the 2A3725 of texas or the BC337 of philips although there were others, for the germanium transistor PNP 2SB56 used as a replacement the OC74 and Ac128 or AC188 among other greetings

Hi pr122 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa alright well, thatoooo wanted to know !!!! You're a genius !!!! ???????????????????? If the C945 and D400 have buckets full of those, what happens that I needed that TEXAS INSTRUMENTS data because I am putting together a high quality amplifier and good guitar sound and I need those high quality components, apart from its performance is great, the theme is that it costs to get them, you have to get them out of some old radio like spica, winco pasadisks etc like the tube transistors like the 2sb56 etc etc, geacias friend wanted to know that, cordial greeting

thanks friend, I understand you because I do the same, I have got transistors NOS (new old stock) that is new from old stock 2N3055 RCA, Toshiba; and texas, with gold-plated legs, a marvel, I treasure them only for the repair of very high quality equipment, I can guarantee that they do not burn or wanting, it is already very difficult to find them but there are, they only cost more expensive because nobody Sleep, that's why I tell you that I understand you and I appreciate what you do, and almost nobody notices this, greetings and good luck friend.

Great colleague !!! Finally I found someone who is on the subject like me, spectacular! I really do not use new spare parts for my case in the manufacture of pree and amplifiers, I take out spare parts from scrap metal from the 70s to the back, I assemble them with C4558 and PT2399 for the reverb and delay that is the only new thing I add, the rest, ceramic capacitors resistance, polyester etc everything old and it is incredible how the sound changes, what happens that in some cases of what I find do not give me the values, but in something approximate, that will be, cordial greeting and success !!!! ????

I pass a data, when you want to buy power transistors type 2n3055 and distrust the origin, notice the separation of the insulation between C and E or CyB, the 2n 3055 were made to withstand 60v, imagine so that they will put an insulation thick as they brought the horizontal salt transistors that had to work with more than 1500v, if you see this type of insulation is sure to be trout, the 2n3055 carry a finite isolation because you cannot jump voltaic arc between its legs with 60 v of power, I always asked to be shown on the side of the legs, greetings

Too bad you're not here, I bought some time ago and they gave me lots of resistors of all the carbon powers from 1/8 to 5w, and Ralco wire and others, I have about 100,000 resistors, from a house for sale of components that I closed, I got electrolytic, ceramic capacitors and old mallory polyester, trimers, transformers of all kinds, all new NOS lots of valves in their boxes, and countless other things, I have it all in boxes because I don't know what I use to give it this material it had already been taken out of sale years ago because slds was obsolete

Hello genius, sorry for the delay if if I imagine those 3055 what are the trout and the good ones, some of those I have out there, now that I'm lucky to have bought that batch of materials, I have to go out to gather what I find, does I went to a junk a lot and saw a film applet with el84 valves, similar to that of the vox ac30 twin, and I didn't pick it up because I was very cracked, I often laugh because people don't know what it throws, what will it be, and one of the last times I found an x-ray machine and I took out the traffic and a pair of 6800 x 35 capacitors and a weirder diode

HN80 something like that I think it was, I do not remember the value well, if I also assemble them with SIC MALLORY and several things of the time, then I send you the images, you would tell me if it was from here, I do not know what part you are , leave me your email if you want and I pass you data from vintage files, what I don't have is valve circuits to arm with EL34 12AX7 6L6 etc, but something can happen to you to build a good amplifier, best regards

I thank you but today on the web you find everything you want, assemble several valvular and transistorized equipment and I have lost my account, I am 60 years old, and more than 45 in the guild as a repairman, I always liked that of manufacturing things, I have experienced in all the branches of analog electronics, from control, audio projects of all types lighting, reboot, to manufacture from 0 my FM station, I tell you the truth with the consent of the digital and nobody is interested in such things a real shame slds
