The difference between eccentric and concentric windings, is that the first ones are all the coils at a single step, which will depend on the revolutions, the number of slots and the winding, that is to say if it goes to whole slot or split or middle slot.
In the concentric winding, the coils have different steps, but the relation of steps is the same as for an eccentric one, that is to say it depends on the revolutions, the number of slots and the type of winding (whole slot or split or middle slot)
In the eccentric winding, the coil step always corresponds to the active step that corresponds to a concentric winding of the same characteristics and for you to see what I explain to you I attach some notes on the subject and of different polarities.
Both types of winding are the same and one or the other is used depending on what the winder decides.
