Phase, Neutral and Earth How to know if they are installed correctly?
We measure the Phase in the outlet, in this case we will do it with an inductive pager, it should detect electromagnetic field. Now, measuring in the Neutral and in the Earth socket I should not detect anything in theory.
1) Is there a way to know if earth and neutral are properly installed?
It occurs to me to bridge phase with earth and wait for the differential switch to jump, but I am not sure that it is correct to do this. Anyway, if the installation were not done correctly, the differential would be skipped, I understand.
2) How to know that the earth is really grounded, that is, how to know that it is not in the air?
Hi, Ale, here I share you, this info, I used it and it works well, and if you don't get it you can do it, there's the scheme ... that you approve of ... luck ..
Hi. Looking at the shot from behind (with the ground terminal facing down), you have neutral to the right, phase to the left and ground to the center. To know if the installation has its operational grounding, a tellurometer should be used to measure it or with another method that is not approved but efficient. regards
