Change common bell for electric doorman

Good, I want to change the doorbell of my traditional house for a Hyundai doorman, my question is, do I just put the two wires in each place from the push button to the doorman? Or I have to disconnect something since it puzzles me that I touch the two wires that I take out of the traditional pushbutton and the traditional bell still sounds that I still don't take out. From already thank you very much

Take a picture of the bell, it will be easier to assume the connection to the button.

Hi If you still did not disconnect the traditional doorbell, what do you expect to happen? This is working. You have to disconnect the current bell, the two wires that reach it must extend them to the phone and connect according to the attached plan. regards

When I was 10 years old, the bells were coming with a bell of 12 volts (at least in the federal capital today CABA) I currently have 70 lollipops with some years in electric porters exclusively (more than twenty) and the only 220v bells I saw were in schools and fire barracks, in both cases placed with relay.

Hi The most common traditional bell is a live line and a return that goes from the push button to the bell; or a neutral and return from the button to the bell. If it was done in the last decade, the bell may have a transformer and two cables with the 12 volts arrive from the bell In the first case you only have one cable available from the street to the bell, once it is disconnected (the remaining cable is from the EYE network). In the second case you have two cables available. You can get goalkeepers (at 220V) of two cables, the battery have four. From the bell you can add the remaining two cables, in case the phone of the doorman is on the way, otherwise you put all the new pull.

No ... it's okay ... it may be that your town has arrived much later but I am very sure. In 1986 that was when I started working, they already came with 12V

Beyond my "town", at the beginning of the nineties I worked in electrical service in San Nicolas de los Arroyos (BsAs), and the truth is that it was worse than where I worked before; but the point is not that they have not come from 12 volts, it is how it was connected, since they coexisted with the Russian bell and others of that type.
It may not be exactly a decade, maybe a little more, but the highest percentage of the timbres placed long ago were connected directly, and what is on the street today is still the majority.

Hi you must remove the old bell and the push button If the cable is not suitable, you must also change it (see minimum requirements in the doorman installation manual) You ride in front of where I was pressing You mount the handset in your chosen place, you must extend the push button wires (from where the doorbell was to the phone) Cheers
