What I want to know is if an operating system removes me from the processor just like it does with the ram in my case I have windows xp I have an amd sempron of 1.85ghz and 2gb of ram what I want to know is if with the operating system the applications and games would only take advantage of the processor at 1.5 ghz since the rest that would be 300mhz which is what the operating system uses, thanks in advance!
