Hello rogelio, you would have to do the following, you would have to try to change the hard disk for another one that is newly formatted and walk that you know is going well, then you enter the bios and you notice that it appears in the Bios then you will install the operating system from the reader but it takes the operating system try to make a bootable usb and see if it takes it through the bios to the usb and if it is compatible you can install the operating system from there is this first option but also that it is not highly recommended but it also works is to take out a hard disk and place it on another pc
and install the operating system once installed remove the disk and put it on your pc do if you take the hard disk do not forget to format first I hope it serves and comments ....
I forgot to comment that the hard disk is solid state and as far as reinstalling I tried it and now the team tells me that the hardware is incompatible with the software ... The software I bought it new and original, so I have the CD and all the documentation and installation and activation keys ... In fact this Desktop I bought it in an Outlet and installed Windows 7 Professional from scratch about 18 months ago ...
I am not sure and I do not remember very well but I will not have modified something in the BIOS to accept the solid state HD ?? Thanks for your help and comments.
In fact, I have already done everything they tell me and nothing ... It does NOT work ... Try to install again from scratch and Nothing. It does not work...
Good morning ... As I told you this was what I did to solve the problem ...
This is a DELL Optiplex 990 Desktop with Windows 7 Professional and A18 BIOS ...
In BIOS enter :.
1.- System Configuration
2.- SATA Operation
Here I have four options: * Disable
* ATA
* AHCI
* Raid On
And select AHCI and voila ... All other parameters were left by default ...
I hope this works for someone else ...
