I have a doubt .... If the cable that has the power pins for the power button of the PC ... I connect them on the mother's connectors that say pwr? ... Should I turn on not? ... Official with any mother? ... xq I have this doubt ... Is that my old PC does not turn on ... So I managed to buy one but they sell me only the update (mother + processor + ram) ... Then I It happened to be able to try to carry a hard disk and the ignition cable .... With only that I can try the mother? .... The cable (the ignition) works like a bridge between the pins? .... Please can you help me if I am correct or how else can I know if the mother works ... Thank you

If so, it should work, only with the hard disk if you are not going to load the operating system, since it is not configured with the chipset of the new motherboard and you would have to format it. but you can get a live cd and instead of carrying the hard drive you have a cd or dvd player.

It is live CD not cd book, in that dico an operating system is already loaded without the need of a hard disk, there are linux and windows.



The motherboard will turn on with the source, the processor and the ram memory will give you the image now if you want it to make the full load of an operating system download the live cd, if you want to prove that it turns on it only carries the clear source you will have to have a monitor to see the video output.

You don't need the power cable. By bridging the power swich pins with a screwdriver the mother turns on. To turn it off you do the same.

Well then I have 50% solved ... not to bridge it I put the cable with the ignition pin and together the tips .... now the question is ... data image? Will the PC start? ... or will it be like it said above that I would need a live Windows cd for me to start? ... knowing that I can go quietly to try the mother .... or just see some error would the screen be more than enough? The ignition pins must be joined for a moment, either by bridging them or with the button.
If you have everything you need, the first image called POST (Power On Self Test) does not need a disc or DVD or anything. Give information about what the computer has.
You only need the mother, the micro, memory a source and a monitor. If you want to enter the BIOS you need a keyboard. Nothing more.

You must bypass the ignition pins. what if you must have a Live Pen Drive to boot, Parted Magic or DLCD can help you to boot, but if it turns on I don't think you should know more. If it is new, it has a guarantee, therefore you will not do much to try it since you will not test the entire system, such as each pen drive connector.
