Hi, I'm new to this, please, I need help with my PC since it doesn't turn on recently and it stays in red lights I have already tried to change the two ram memories (change them from slot) but it still does not turn on For now I can describe what is a Prescott pentium 4 pc with 1 gb ram Please help me thank you

Pouf, old system. Good choice with Prescott, they were the best P4. For the old thing I recommend that you disassemble it all and check if there are swollen capacitors on the mother and / or the source (change the ones that are bad) Clean everything, change thermal paste, check the source tensions and check the VRM mosfet. Comment that you find and if you solved it.

ready I checked the capacitors and apparently there were no defects, I cleaned dust and now the PC turns on but gives 5 short beeps and stays there
the source connector is somewhat loose



The most common in beeps is that it indicates memory or video failure.
That the source connections are loose is bad, that is making false contact and with less contact surface can overheat by the amount of current that passes. Try to correct that.
Try a single memory.



Well since I tried with a single memory and it didn't work out because the red lights follow, for now I have fixed the source to avoid false contact
I'm going to check the tensions and the mosfet


