Hello how are you? My name is Pablo, I'm new here, I'm Uruguayan! I tell you my friends, from one moment to the next, my rear 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports 3.0 (the latter connected to the board socket), only port 3.1 is saved The basics I did everything, from device manager no problem appears, update the bios, reinstall windows, and reset the bios without any progress. The ports arrive with power, because I can charge my cell phone for an example, but what is peripherals (mouse, keyboard, headphones, pad) do not work. I conclude that it is a hardware issue, and the question in particular is what could be the problem or problems and if it can be fixed if it is worth it. The mother is an Aorus z370 ultra gaming 1.0 with an i5 8600k the source is a sesonic 620w plus bronze If you need any more information, notify. Of course, thank you very much to everyone.

Hello, as colleagues say you can try to repair them but I think that will be very difficult because it is an SMD and you would have to get it first is a 64-pin ASM3142, then you would have to remove it and if you do not have hot air it will be a bit difficult to unless you take it to someone who does the job, to take it out without air you could cut the pins but then to weld without hot air it is very difficult, the most logical thing a colleague suggests is to put a PCI wave to USB and it would be faster and more economical.

Carlos, first of all thank you very much for taking time to read and propose a solution to my problem.
Provisionally opt for a USB hub to use the PC. And I'm already looking to buy a pci with usb.
Thank you very much and have a great day

I think it would be worth repairing that plate. Check the chip that controls the USB and the components around it. Maybe you should change the chip. Another option that gives less work is to buy a PCI or PCIe board with USB ports

Jochu friend, I will effectively consider your PCI card solution. I had a hub and that is what I am using for now, but in a few days I will go for a PCI to make it more neat.
I appreciate your response very much, it has helped me a lot. Have a great day.
Regards,
Paul

Thanks for answering friend. The peripherals are in perfect condition, obviously the first thing I did was try them on another computer. The pci board or the hub for now are my fastest, most economical and effective solution.
Thank you very much have a nice day
