Good, I recently bought a pc, which came with 4 of ram and I wanted to increase it to 16 with 1 ram of 8 and another of 4, the pc has 4 stocks of rams, the problem is that when I place the other two rams that I want to not give video and after a while the fan the PC starts to sound hard, what I have to do for the PC to read the rams is to turn on the PC with the 4 of rams and turn it off and place the other rams to work with 16, sometimes grab and sometimes not, the pc is i5 2400, dr3 just like all the rams, I have to restart and take out and put the rams several times for the pc to work, I would like to know why this happens and if I could fix it because it is very annoying that every time you turn on the PC you have to do all that procedure to remove and insert the rams

4x4 16 ... 4 slot and each one supports 4 GB of RAM memory X EACH SLOT (try it better this way), you have to ensure that all are of the same frequency and the ddr3 tbm all the same hand. After this, see if the PC is fine by the failed attempt described above.

Hi The ideal is always to go for equal dimms in every aspect, brand, model, ... When you can't, discarding them are the same in "type" (if you can't connect them), you need to verify equal frequency of operation. Something else to verify , with a motherboard model, is in its documentation, see the "schemes" or "fixes" of RAM it supports. Sometimes, depending on the model, the order to follow is predetermined and must be respected A premise , always place in slot 1, the dimm of more capacity, and thus continue in descending order. That way you make sure in most cases, the full capacity of the dimms arrangement is recognized. Greetings from Uruguay

Try the memories one by one, maybe one of them is incompatible.
