I am going to buy an SSD disk (solid state disk) for my Sony Vaio 2010 model notebook The SSD disk is 240GB and 540MB / S These are the available brands: Adata Gigabyte Kingston Crucial WD (Western Digital) Is there a difference between each brand? It depends on where you live. Find the brand that has service in your country. In Argentina the brand with the best service is WD, which has a contract with a company that is dedicated only to that, they are very fast and have good attention. The only problem I had was when the ship was delayed and then extended the service hours because they were very late because of that. I use the Sandisk, Kingston and Western Digital brands. So far I never bought Samsung because they are much more expensive.
