Philips S388 cell phone does not work OTG cable

I wanted to connect a cable of these to read pendrives and others through the mini USB port, and it was not detected. I was finding out a bit and I think it is not compatible with OTG, that is, it does not supply output current through the port. Is that so? How could I solve it?

the cable does work on that device. since in fact they sell it in amazon ... check if that same cable works on some other android cell phone https://www.amazon.in/Philips-Supported-Connecting-TabletsBy-Billetera/dp/B0773N99BG

Yes, all cables are the same. It is a standard. Verify that that OTG serves with another cell phone, maybe the cable is damaged. Try either the same cable or try a new one that works on another. Maybe your charging pin is defective or dirty


