Nikon 4600, S1 and S3 have a faulty operating system. The good news is that there is an update for it. The process of repairing that issue might take an hour or two. You have to hard boot the camera with a jumper setting on the unit to force the new operating system in the camera and then upload all the updates. Nikon is repairing them for people, but they want you to send it in and are charging people $87 for the repair. You might be able to find someone near you that can do the repair for you much cheaper.
