You see, about 4 years ago I bought a mountain bike, those made of aluminum, quite light. Well, the thing is that the tires almost never inflated them, but lately as six months ago the tires were lowered every so often, I inflated them every 15 days, lately I only lasted one day and today not even that, I left my house and at I had to walk back because I was low and it sounded when I was driving, so that it won't spoil the better I walked. The question is, is that normal? that is, the tire has already been spent and is no longer useful and I have to put another one on it? Or should it have a hole and if the patch is fixed? I have some patches for car tires, I was thinking of looking for the hole and patching it, but I have no idea how to find it, would I have to disassemble the tire, right? It's the front tire, I think it's easier to take out. Please explain how I repair it myself. How do I find the hole and how do I patch it? or if you have no arrangement tell me too. Thanks in advance for your answers.

It is not difficult to patch: Without taking it out of its place you can do it 1º remove the nut that adjusts the valve, then with a pair of screwdrivers you remove one side of the cover do it of short sections then start to remove the camera from the valve, then you inflate the chamber and with water and detergent you place the dry puncture well you apply solution to adhere the patch and stick it, you can use car or bicycle patches, rearmating taking care to locate the chamber well.

Then to find where the air is losing you, you must take the air chamber, inflate it and put it in a bowl with water and move around, where the leak is, you will see that the water bubbles. Check when you mount that the protective tape that covers the nuts of the spokes is in place and without breaks, also be careful when mounting it if you use any metal utensil to put the tire be careful not to crush the air chamber in the assembly .
