Hello I would like to know if the pinions marked in the red circle of this cassette mechanism need some type of lubrication and in case of needing lubrication if there is any other part that should be lubricated. Thank you.

Hi, you can only grease the shafts of those gears with a little fine grease. Another bit of grease if required is in the keys the metallic part between the plastic guide and metal, only if it has hardened, that is only in the parts where there is friction.

The gears are not greased, only their respectful axes in that mechanism and when it sounds it is because the white gear is worn, if so replace it.

To your question of those 2 rectangles marked in figure number 2, if you can place a little thin grease, since it is a place of friction between the metal and the plastic.
