Hello friends Recently I bought second-hand this Sony MHC-GNX80 Mini Component which, when turned on, activates the fan at low intensity and as the volume rises the fan increases the intensity, check filters and resistances but I did not find any anomalies, I don't know if this is normal In this model. On the other hand, when the equipment is turned on, a slight click is heard only on the two front and environmental speakers that is only when turned on, in the subwoofer that click is not heard, but the rest does not hear strange noise and even if I raise the volume like this place music or without it, Otherwise, it responds well at low or high volume and does not even shut down or protect. The repairs I made were: - Cleaning the optical lens of the CD drive - Change of some buttons that were bad - Maintenance to the volume potentiometer - Changing the radio tuner card am fm - Cold reset - Cleaning of cards with clean liquid electronic contacts I appreciate you can help me with this issue

Carefully reviewing each of the lines with the help of the service manual I found one of the relays that is on the card where the STK 412-150 of the outputs of the front and surround speakers was mounted was direct, that is to say that it was activated or If the relay circuit was deactivated, this current was passing, for this reason the current click was heard when the minicomponent was turned on and if I put the headphones on, this relay is activated but at the same time, music was still being heard by the front and surround speakers, the subwoofer if It was deactivated. When changing this relay the fault was solved and the fan operated but at a lower speed and as I increase the volume it increased the speed, with this I no longer hear the click and if I put headphones the relay is activated and the speakers are deactivated. This cost me a bit of work but in the end I can solve it, the old owner stated that he gave it little use and always had it disconnected from the electrical outlet.

" when turned on, the fan is activated at low intensity and as the volume rises the fan increases the intensity" This is normal, since when the volume is increased, the amplifiers are demanded therefore it needs more ventilation .

Ready, but now in the case of the click of the ignition it seems strange to me since when connecting the headphones the front and environmental speakers are still heard and that of the subwoofer is not heard and the switch is activated

The sound you hear should be from the power of the amplifiers, that's why the pop you hear in the speakers.
