The mixer gives power?

Hello people, good afternoon, it is clear that I am too novice and that is why I come with such ridiculous questions lol I hope you are not offended. I comment. I always used the auxiliary of the direct ampli to a PC, cell phone, tablet etc ... but I read a little and they say that it is not advisable to make that connection since I can not get good power, based on that I decided to buy a mixer, my doubts are : connecting the mixer will get more power? Will there be a difference in sound? Is better? Without the mixer does the amplifier give less power? Is it wrong for the ampli to work with direct aux to a sound source, that is, without the mixer in between? Thank you.

The only thing you are going to have with the mixer is simply an extension of inputs, the auxiliary inputs always handle the same signals, you will have more or less power according to the volume that the device you put in that input handles. The signal from the mixer is equal to that of the auxiliary outputs even sometimes it is already adjusted with a single level, the auxiliaries are banked almost any low level signal that does not saturate said input, it is not recommended to put power amplifier signals, because you are going to spoil the entrance

Best regards, friend, this depends on the quality of the mixer or mixer you have purchased, among the recognized and mid-range or high-end brands there are (mixer) with gain control per channel and equalization control, it also depends on the source of If you have sound, it is logically much better to have the mixer or console between the AUX of the amplifier and the sound source, since it will be cleaner, prepared and equalized according to the taste of each one and it is much better if the mixer brings control of gain per channel, different from the master volume controls of said console which is the final gain that will be obtained from said mixer and this will be the one that enters the aux of the amplifier, this will also have the advantage of additionally adding other sound sources to your amplifier

You're welcome my friend, we are glad to be here to collaborate, I forgot to comment that if the mixers, consoles are in charge of improving and processing any audio signal and give you greater and better gain, but not power, there are currently power consoles which you can put the speakers directly.
