Hello good guys, I have a lexsen lxa-251 amplifier and my question is how to make the connection for bridge mode. If someone could help me I would appreciate it very much. I don't want to do anything because of the doubts that the amplifier burns.

The first thing you have to do is move the switch that is in the back part, to the bridgge position, (since the other position says stereo) then in the red terminals the two of the center is where you will connect your horn (speaker), right there it indicates the polarity with a sign + the positive and - the negative. In this arrangement, you can connect two 8 ohm speakers in parallel, this means 4 ohms as a minimum load. regards

Lexen LXA251 specifications > 4 Ohms Stereo - 125W x 2 8 Ohms Stereo - 80W x 2 8 Ohms Bridge - 250 W Two Power Amplifier bridge channels Forced ventilation with low noise fans Power indicators, Signal, Clip and protection Output with Speakon Frequency Response …… .20Hz - 20kHz (± 0.5dB) Signal to Noise Ratio …………………………… ..102dB Total harmonic distortion ………………………… 0.1% Balanced Input Impedance ……… ..20K Ohms Unbalanced Input Impedance …… 10K Ohms Entry Level ………………………… .. + 4dB Damping Factor….> 200 (f = 1kHz 8 Ohms) Short Circuit Protection ………………………… .Yes AC / DC protection ………………………………… ..Yes Temperature Protection ……………………………… Yes > To use the amplifier in bridge mode: 1) place the amplifier switch on bridge 2) enter signal only on channel A, (no signal must be input on channel B) 3) Connect only 1 8 Ohm speaker to the 2 red terminals of the amplifier The + terminal of the speaker is from channel A because it is the one in phase with the input. Thank you romaci2005 I understood your explanation, now I will comment that this amplifier in the red terminals as indicated for the option! <bridge> Does not indicate polarity for the correct position of the speaker poles, how to know the polarity? If the amplifier does not indicate them. Regards

Channel A is the positive of the speaker and Channel B is the negative of the speaker.

be careful when connecting the black that can be ground in stereo as well ... in bridge the two insulated wires of earth or ground should go ... under penalty of charging the amplifier greetings and luck
