Hi, I have an 80-liter electric kacemaster stainless steel thermos, check the ignition key, never turn off the light, will the thermostat work well? The resistance will turn off? and when the selected temperature was reached, the light on the power key went off thanks

Hi I really don't know, but applying logic, I would say that the light on indicates just that, it is on. If the thermostat didn't cut the water it would boil and you would have to unplug it. regards

Thank you! As it has a clock that shows you the temperature, I keep an eye on it !!! From what I saw in the next manual, it has an exhaust valve in case it boils water, for now it seems that it is only the light to show that It is on! The same until the brand does not confirm it, I will monitor the temperature

Hi Jungle. I imagine that it will have reached the setpoint temperature (the one you program) In less than 1/2 hour it would have already passed 100 °. Some electric water tanks cut the light when they reach the indicated temperature, but others do not. Both have advantages and disadvantages, in your case with a glance you know that it is on, in the others ..... you suppose it is hot, if you do not have a pressure gauge you have to put your hand under water hehehe. regards

The power light indicates that it is connected to the power line. It does not turn off until you press the corresponding key or unplug it. They generally have another light that indicates that the resistor is connected by heating the water, which turns off when it reaches the temperature regulated by the thermostat. If the thermostat fails and does not cut off the current, the hot water tank has a thermal safety that cuts the resistance current before the water reaches boiling temperature. It also has an overpressure safety valve. Arming

Thank you, this comment was super helpful! The manual says that there is a second light for resistance but it is optional and in my thermos it did not come, I had the doubt for that reason, the manual is not very wide! Now I stay nas quiet!!!
