Water Heaters (Calefones)

Boiling noise boiler

Hello how are you. I wanted to ask you about a topic I have with the hot water tank that I don't know if it's serious or not. The water heater is relatively new, it was installed 9 months ago, it is an A6 aquapiu. The issue is that a month after having installed it began to make a loud noise like boiling inside. I was reading several post here that the same thing happened to them but unlike those posts this hot water tank is new and in those posts they were always old and possible problems of tartar were mentioned. I guess in my case I should rule out that option. I clarify that every month I go and open the canillita to get a good amount of water according to the manual. On the other hand the gas outlet I think is fine, at least I think it respects what the manual asks: It will have approx 1 meter or a little more after the exit in a vertical way, then an elbow at 45, a stretch of about 50cm that reach another elbow at 45 and finally a piece of 1 meter more with 4 wind hat exit in H. The water inlet is connected to the right and just before the entrance has the valve that comes with the hot water tank, as the manual says so that would be fine. Prior to that you have an aquasystem stopcock, this is the only thing that reading and reading gave me concern if it is correct. Some help?

Hello First of all, the installation you describe is correct, so discard any errors in it, what may be happening is that steam is generated (since that device heats up like the big P), which is solved by lowering a little the temperature thus cuts before it reaches 90 °, if with that it does not stop doing so I suggest you call the Eskabe service since what you should do is control a pressure regulator that has the gas inlet, and it requires a water column pressure gauge to do it, besides that if you touch it you lose the warranty since it is sealed. Cheers !

Thanks I'm going to try lowering the temperature. Now I wonder, shouldn't it work well at any temperature? I mean, maybe lowering the temperature is solved, but if I lower it and it doesn't go to the desired temperature? Is the aquasystem stopcock correct? I read somewhere that it should be a spherical or sluice type stopcock, although these are a sluice type, it is like it makes some reduction in the diameter and maybe that makes that steam can not be evacuated to the water column, it can be ? Thank you.

hello: the thermostat may be uncalibrated due to high temperature or it may not have anything and is only tartar on the base. Although the device is relatively new in 9 months if the water is hard it can form a lot of tartar. The tartar solidifies very quickly when the water passes 60 degrees.

Thanks, I will try to lower the temperature first. Now I wonder, shouldn't it work well at any temperature? Not the key that is not placed is the loose valve because it acts as a check valve, the acuasystem key is well placed, it is not a loose valve and it can be repaired, it lowers the temperature but see if when you open the tap it does not come out with air you can be tartar

Thanks, lower the temperature a bit and keep doing it. Some air comes out, but not a lot. There is air in the pipes usually (the installation is new and I don't know if something is wrong or that but there is usually air), I understand that I should make a breaker but since I was going to install a pressurizing pump I did not do it.

the breaker is not necessary if you have an open circuit tank, the expansion goes back to the tank, the thermostat is sure that the thermostat is uncalibrated due to high temperature.
