Ecotermo water tank: water outlet thread is distorted or swept

Hi, I have a 53 liter electric hot water tank, top load. At the outlet (hot water) the polypropylene thread (the nipple 3/4 to 1/2) was split and left inside. The plastic that was left inside was roughly removed with a screwdriver and hammer. Obviously, when I wanted to put a new thread, I had already falsified the internal thread of the hot water tank and did not grab the new thread. What solution can there be for not having to change the entire hot water tank? :( Thank you!

Hello! Try first to see if it grabs thread with an iron nipple, or a 15cm epoxy nipple, so you can have a good grip on the inclination and first turn.

Hi. Epoxy is not used in water, only in gas since it has no protection against internal corrosion. Galvanized or poly are used. Regards

Hello You will have no choice but to lower the thermos and take it to weld a 1/2 "cup, another solution I do not think there is Cheers !

Thank you very much for the answers!! I was about to lower the hot water tank as MDQ Heating said, but try something else before it worked: I heated the plastic nipple with a lighter, and began to thread it on the thermo outlet, without Teflon or anything, trying to keep it More right possible. After he got in quite a bit, I took it out (it was left with the thread half blurred on one side, I guess copying the mess inside) and I put hemp and seals it. I put it back very slowly and SURPRISE, grabbed! He had tried before with several nipples but without the step of heating it, and he always lost. Now he has been walking for a day, without losing a drop. The bad news is that now I discovered a puncture in the base, and there I think I ran out of adventure to try to save the thermos :(. Anyway, thank you very much for the answers !!!
