Hello, when I want to light the pilot, (the circular knob - selector in the correct position, pilot) I press the red button that injects gas, and keep it for 15 seconds, normal, and when releasing the red button instead of If only the pilot is lit, the burner is also lit. It is as if I had turned it on with the selector knob set to Maximum position for example. And so it is, all on, heating the water, and never goes out. I let it work until I feel the water comes out hot enough and I turn off the thermo-tank.
Previously, the problem started with the thermos going off at any time, once a day, or once every 2 or 3 days, or sometimes 15 or 20 days went by without shutting down alone. And two days ago it went off by itself and didn't turn on properly again.
1st I took out the thermo-cupla and the thermo-magnetic unit. In the spare house they tested me in front of me both elements together, mine and also tested them separately with other new elements, and they worked correctly, both my thermo-cupla and my thermo-magnetic unit. I then unscrewed the complete module, the square that has a copper tube that goes inside the thermos. It was a suggestion of the spare parts house, there they told me that the module is descalibrated and does not measure the temperature well. I had a little tartar stuck on it, and I took it out and cleaned it out of that copper. I connected it again and it remains the same. At the parts house they told me that if I do this and it didn't work well, I have to buy a new complete module ($ 1,800.- !!!), that there are no other parts that can be changed.
