Hi Luis! After cleaning all gas and water pipes, I also passed air under pressure from below to the radiator, it looks somewhat rusty but I don't know if it will affect. The serpentine looks good on the outside at least. Then I assembled and regulated the stopcock very precisely to close it as much as possible without lowering the flame. I managed to keep the water warm at least. What caught my attention, the Venturi was somewhat broken inside. It's all plastic, and inside it had a cone type filter. I didn't find any spring or drive inside. I don't know how it is inside, should I change it? Would it improve? Thank you!
hello: the venturi is the one that makes the pressure difference to actuate the diaphragm and this actuates the gas valve it is important that it is in good condition if you saw it split you should change it it may not be opening the gas passage in its entirety notice the radiator that the fins are well straight if the fault persists you should measure the gas pressure
Luis, I bought the replacement of the complete venturi, when I am going to replace it, I realize that the old man, not only was damaged in the cone above, but also LACKED ONE PIECE! This model brings a bronze connector with a nut that has a spring inside, that comes in the spare part but it turns out that the heater was not in place. There was the green plastic piece alone! It is seen that people have gone hand in hand without knowledge or care.
Conclusion: by changing that, and cleaning everything works perfectly! Thank you very much Luis. A hug from Mendoza.
hello: I'm glad to know that you could fix it thanks to you for sharing the solution greetings from miramar bs as
