Hi. As to remove the resistance you just have to disconnect it and remove it. You can do this with a large pipe wrench or a mechanical type pipe. Another option would be to place common vinegar before having drained it by its tap and put it to heat. This will loosen all the tartar and a white liquid that is diluted tartar will come out. Regards
