Hello everyone. I have an 11-liter Yunkers ionized water heater, less than 4 years ago and suddenly stopped heating, the flame is blue but it does not heat, when turning the knob that indicates more gas intensity the flame rises very little, the heater is not at I don't know what the weather is, there is water pressure since it turns on immediately, I don't know if it will be gas pressure? If so, how can I check it? Could it be something else? please someone to guide me. Beforehand thank you very much.

If you have a gas burner, turn it on to the maximum and then give the hot water to turn on the heater while observing the burner. If the flame of the burner goes down it is because there is little gas pressure

Teacher thank you very much!
Indeed, the low gas pressure, that is to say when the heater is switched on, lowers the flame in the burner or cooker as we say, so I must check the flexible gas of the container cylinders or gas cylinders there will be the problem? Or will it be the fexible that reaches the water heater through the gas pipe? ... What do you recommend me to check?
Beforehand thank you very much !

If you have low gas pressure and use gas balloons then start checking the gas regulator on the ball to see if it is properly set and if it has a key or something to give more passage to the gas. If all is well you should check connection by connection to see that there is no gas leak anywhere. If the problem started after a change of gas ball could have been bad or valve ball with problems or they sold you gas of poor quality but you should see that.

One more question how often should the regulator be changed? This has been about 15 years since it was installed, and had flexible copper installed from the regulator to the balloons, a couple of months ago they were exchanged for new ones but not copper, this could be the reason for the bad gas pressure and change only this or you should change the entire regulator with its flexible ones.
Thank you !

You should not see it in the field the setting of each component. The problem started after the change you mentioned?

Hi. The problem began after the change, so I suspect that it may be the new flexible that is different from what I had and that is not finally the regulator.
Thank you !
