download.jpg [4.20kb] Hi. This Pressure Switch is installed in a EFE60A Deluxe Link Washer. It has 2 terminals with thick cables and 2 terminals with thin cables. Do these pressure switches work? I saw out there that they use 5v, is that right? Do they work generating a frequency variation? in which terminals is frequency measured? The terminals are numbered like this: 11 and 14 have thick cable 12 and 16 have fine cable I am learning, I would appreciate very much if you can help me. From already thank you very much.

Hello, these pressure switches are not electronic, they are mechanical, and in that machine they work with 220 V or mains voltage, for their verification you have to measure continuity in different steps, when the machine is empty there must be continuity between 11 and 12, blowing up to the first click between 11 and 14 and continuing to blow should give continuity between 11 and 16 (antirebalse: triggers the drain pump), greetings.

Good. Already make the measurements. Without blowing, I measure continuity between 11 and 12 and there is indeed continuity. Then blowing through the pipette, I measure continuity between 11 and 12 and there is no continuity, then I measure between 11 and 14 and there is continuity. I keep blowing but I get to have continuity between 11 and 16.
So is it working wrong?

It is not working badly, when blowing to the maximum there should be continuity between 11 and 16.

I already had continuity between 11 and 16, I was wrong to measure. Thank you

Do not get confused, these pressure switches with the image, are pressure switches electromechanical, I advise you to google "pressure switches electromechanical pdf" to have a good orientation, then see, "electronic pressure switch" (also called level sensor ) these if they work with 5 vdc and 2.5 vdc and their checking is frequently, they are more seen in top-loading washing machines, while the first ones in frontal loading with the luxury sfeel efe60a check: contact 11 is the common, contact 12 empty, means that the machine without water, there must be continuity between 11 and 12. Contacts 14 and 16 full (in some cases the 16 is used overflow protection), means that with the washing machine with water, there will be continuity between 11 and 14 or 11 and 16, but no longer between 11 and 12

Actually, eye, do not touch the screws of the pressure switch, as you can deconfigure it

Dear, with respect to the connectors, the two thick cables are terminals 11 and 14. The two thin ones are 12 and 16. Greetings

It has a commutation, being the common No. 11, that is in rest position with muta 11 and 12, and when it is filled with air the commutation would be 11 and 14.
Generally the number 12 for above level, for safety.
I hope to help you with my explanation.
