Hi, I have a 5000 Cal Orma Calorama stove. A while ago I was humping and it was hard to light the pilot, it was not on but insisting it came on. Today I could not turn it on since the pilot turns on, I am having a good time keeping the knob tight to make the thermocouple hot and thus be able to give it a minimum or maximum according to the need but it is no longer on. Surely it is the thermocouple, isn't it ??????? You should loosen the nuts of this rod on both sides, remove it and go to a store with the sample to replace it. Or is it possible that it is another subject? If I am not mistaken in one end of the rod, the iron is heated and in the other the electromagnetic valve (or something similar). I have to change all this, right ???? Thank you in advance for your help.

hello: change everything not.
Before changing the thermocouple, check the adjustment of the thermocouple with the magnetic unit, sometimes it loosen and cause that failure is a nut n ° 8, if it does not work with that it disassembles the pilot and injector and changes the thermocouple any doubt comments greetings

Thank you very much for your answer!!! We go in parts. Please correct me if I go wrong. I go intuitively nothing more.
1) disassemble with the nuts of both sides.
2) Clean the fierrito that heats up (in a video I saw that they did it with an emery sandpaper). You will tell me your opinion about it.
3) Remove the thermocouple from the opposite end and adjust that nut you tell me # 8 and try.
I repeat again thank you very much for your help.

Hi Mariotti Luis Marcos: Everything I put in the previous message, forget it !!!!! Hahaha!!!! It's like you said: nut number 8 was loose, without disassembling or anything, I squeezed it and the miracle happened and the pilot remained on. I thank you infinitely for the help. Surely you have to clean the pilot. It will be later. I will upload some photos to indicate, not as much as disassembly, but the security measures to reassemble. A big hug Luis and thank you very much for your help. Solisoquio
