Stoves (heating)

Electric stove does not turn on

Hello people! I have two identical electric Axel brand stoves that stopped working when plugged into an outlet. The plug there, turned on normally and when I go to see the power light are off and no longer give heat. Try other shots and nothing. I don't know anything about electronics, but I opened one to see and felt no burning smell or anything. It has two components that are attached to the power buttons. Cables, and a small metal dw component that I think is a fuse, is close to the grids that give heat. Unfortunately I am having financial problems to take them to fix a technician. Can you give me a hand to see what I can do or what I can try? I appreciate from now. Regards!

notice if at the bottom (turn it around) it has a button that if being supported on the floor is not pressed (activated, as if you were ringing the bell of a house without releasing the button --- I put it like this so that you understand since you don't know anything about electronics --- it WILL NOT WORK) that button is safe in case the stove falls unintentionally, the candles are deactivated and there is no risk of burning your house ... plug the stove into the outlet and press yourself that button (keep it pressed) and see if they already light the candles ..... COMMENT LUCK !!!

Hello again!
I took a couple of pictures.
I noticed and I do not see the security button ..
By the way, in the box it says electric heater, I don't know if it's the same as stove. Look on the internet and some call it a stove too, but I really don't know if it's okay to say so haha.

I add: Test if you had power to plug it in and yes, it has. Touch the rack, and also.
I really don't know why this happens.

Responder

Oh sorry.
It only has two lights ... one on each power button that they turned on when they were active. Now it does not turn on any.
With grid I was referring to metal sticks that heat up and give heat. Try a pager and it has current.

click on one end you have to be sure (if that is just the phase wire) if it is neutral it will not mark anything (ideally a tester) but try putting on one end and on the other you have to mark on both ends of the fuse (this indicates that the fuse is sound (otherwise the fuse is blown)

Elektron, probe and on one side has current, on top of the fuse too, but not on the other end.
Where there is no current, it is from the far right, horning us with the photo you sent me (that is, on the side of the cables)
Will it be burned?
I didn't do the use of a piece of cable yet

Then do this ---- just to test if you unplug it and tomorrow you buy the fuse at any hardware store --- I leave you a photo that you should test and comment!

ELEKTRON WORKED !!
Thank you very much friend!! :)
Turn it off just as you said so you don't have problems.
Now I take out the fuse and buy the same one as soon as I can.
The last thing would be ... The fuse I cut it by cutting its wires and then with the new one already in hand I hooked the wires and must I solder?
Or will it just come out by pulling a little and the new one "plug" the wires into the holes?

you can take out the old one as you said and weld the new one or weld it on top of it --- it is best to take out the old one so you take it to the hardware store to get the same thermal fuse ....

check that this thermal fuse is not open ... the one that marks you in the photo is ideal with tester (if you have tester) connect a cable (just to get the doubts that is not the fuse) between each end of the fuse if it starts the stove and turn it off and buy one morning sustituis understood what you explain? Hello!
As soon as I get home from work, I take it apart again and upload photos.
No problem, I thank you for explaining it that way since I am quite ignorant on the subject. If I remember correctly I don't have that button, but I will check again
Thank you very much for the help!
